Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Talk15 (the “Service”), operated by Opligence LLC (“we,” “us,” or “the Company”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep it up to date.

4. Service Description

Talk15 is a platform that facilitates anonymous, one-on-one voice calls lasting 15 minutes. Users (“Listeners”) purchase tickets to be matched with available conversationalists (“Talkers”). Calls are random, time-limited, and end automatically.

5. Tickets and Payments

5.1 Ticket Purchases

Tickets are priced at $5.00 USD each and are processed through Stripe. Each ticket entitles you to one 15-minute voice call session.

5.2 No Refunds

All ticket purchases are final and non-refundable. By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge and accept this policy. This includes situations where you fail to join a matched call within the required time window, experience a disconnection due to your own network, or are unsatisfied with the conversation.

5.3 Talker Payouts

Talkers receive payouts through Stripe Connect. The Company retains a platform fee from each completed session. Payout terms and schedules are governed by Stripe’s terms and the Talker’s Stripe Connected Account agreement.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for romantic, sexual, or therapeutic purposes
  • Harass, threaten, abuse, or intimidate other users
  • Share personal contact information or attempt to identify other users
  • Record calls without the other party’s explicit consent
  • Use the Service for any illegal activity
  • Attempt to circumvent the 15-minute call limit or other Service restrictions
  • Create multiple accounts to manipulate the matching system
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these rules, without notice or refund.

7. Call Rules

  • All calls are strictly 15 minutes with no extensions.
  • You must join a matched call within 15 seconds or the match is forfeited.
  • No profiles, follow-ups, or re-matching with the same user within 30 minutes.
  • Calls are voice-only.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, logo, and underlying technology, is the property of Opligence LLC. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We are not responsible for the content of conversations between users and do not monitor or moderate calls in real time.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Opligence LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Opligence LLC from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of unused tickets.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
